After re-locating to So Dak., popular interest and requests, has prompted me to begin offering retail supplies and classes to the public.
Due to weather conditions, and lengthy travel, the shop is open by appointment.
This shop is offering a full range of multi level class sessions.
“ArtCamp” a new concept sold as “blocks” of time, that can be scheduled as best fits your interest needs and schedule.
Examples of this regime are:
A class that has 6 blocks, means there are 6 sessions,
each session comprises 3 hours.
This might be scheduled 6 days in a row, a weekend a month, a day every 2 weeks, the combination is endless.
The closer together you keep your classes ‘might’ make a difference in your learning capabilities, and that is totally subjective.
In other words, ArtCamp is designed to fit your schedule needs.
Scheduled on a first come first serve basis, but the calendar does have its limits.
So, book yourself in to hold the day you choose if it is open.
There is over 30 years of gathered skills for perfecting the techniques required in mastering the glass medium, ( my renowned discipline)
As well as many additional disciplines we offer in a wide scope of interests.
All the projects are designed to meet age and limitation requirements to fill the time slot scheduled.
Projects are perfect for Girl scout or Boy scout activity.
Meet the needs to plan a fun filled day for camping youths as well as camping adults.
The perfect reunion or get together activity.
Red Hat Ladies are always on the look out for an interesting activity.
Plan for a demonstration with refreshments.
Discussed in advance we can accommodate.
Or please plan to have an activity designed to suit your groups interest.
Journaling has made a comeback, and is a HUGE outlet for keeping track of daily activities, keeping memoirs, practicing sketch and technical activities.
Make small journals for gifts, make booklets of themes and give as gifts...this list is endless.
Take classes that help you create these journals and booklets.
Once you have your gifting will be endlessly supplied.
Be extra creative and learn to alter ‘older’ books to become new journals.
Simple jewelry making is the perfect activity for the youths, providing a fun filled day’s activity.
Making a card or simple booklet is a terrific day activity.
My intentions are that I will have “guests” artists visit and they will offer workshops.
These will be set and require a minimum number of participants.
There seems to be a huge interest in this kind of working studio.
I hope I have anticipated everyone’s interest.
Please contact the studio and discuss whatever your current discipline inquiry is for investigating projects that will help develop your skills, and advance your level.
Involved classes such as beginner, intermediate, advanced classes for stained glass, sculptural processes, painting on glass and kiln applications for glass, painting workshops for oils/acrylics/watercolor/inks require larger blocks and discussions with the instructor.Additionally, they make the perfect class for a weekend “special”
